I know little to nothing about how the parliamentary system across the pond works, so this morning will be a bit of an education for me!
Michael Wolff, John Dean, and Robert Moore predicted potential fireworks when Pirate Rupert, Little Jimmy Murdoch, and Our Miss Rebekah Brooks testify in front of this parliamentary committee, but it also sounds like, from comments I've gleaned from them, that there is some sort of Brit equivalent of "pleading the 5th." So, if all we get are "abject" apologies alternated with "pleading the 5th" alternated with "righteous anger" from those in Parliament who enabled all this Murdoch $hit to perpetuate to begin with, I don't know how hot those fireworks will be. We'll all see!
My 2 big questions remain if or how deeply this scandal will affect the prime ministership (just made up that word) of David Cameron & the nature of the nearly obsessive hold that the Murdoch boys seem to have with Rebekah Brooks & visa versa. What the spark is going on there?! I doubt these questions will be answered this morning, but this scandal keeps growing, and the rate at which this scandal is growing could produce answers to these questions sooner rather than later.
Will this morning's activities be along these lines
or these lines
or these lines?
We'll all find out together! ;D
