Eric Cantor, that shande fur die goyim, has declared that any hurricane relief money has to be subtracted from other spending, so FEMA has decided to shift money from tornado destroyed Joplin MO to pay for hurricane relief in Cantor's home state of Virgina.
"We are not taking any money away from survivors," a FEMA spokesperson said in a press conference Sunday morning.
But FEMA may put permanent projects on hold.
"We really don't want folks to wait any longer than they need to, but when we have to set priorities when things get low, we need to make sure we're helping those individuals that need assistance immediately," a second FEMA spokesperson, Bob Josephson said.
Back in Joplin, residents say the town has come a long way in the past 3 months, but there's still a lot that needs to be done. This news of delayed FEMA money isn't sitting well with some.
"We still have a lot of clean up here," resident Eric Hutchison said. "I feel like they made us that promise. They should stick to their word."
All you good folks in the 7th district in Virginia who are too busy to notice that Cantor is actually elected and paid for by you, pay attention. You know what you need to do in 2012.
