My brain cells are down with teh cold that the children and grand babies were kind enough to share. Yes, it is indeed the suck, the blow, and the blah. The chills and the lethargy too. And it is everywhere. The weather is not helping. It's gray, rainy, and dismal out to boot. But, I found a couple things that two fellow kossacks are doing that brightened up the day considerably.
So if you want to feel better, and do something positive, something that really will make a difference for a whole lot of people, there's two easy things you can do.
Go read anotherdemocrat's diary on the Aids Walk she's doing in Austin, Texas. Yes, that Texas. Governor Hair's Texas. Want to help those who've been abandoned by him and his administration? Want to make a donation and have it matched by WalGreens? Want to help with a rec and a comment?

Second thing to brighten your day, and that of a lot of good folks in Michigan, is to go to Muskegon Critic's diary. If you love gardens, go check it out. If you love good, healthy, home grown food, you'll love reading what his diary is about. If you think community gardens deserve everyone's support, go here.

All you have to do is vote. A few recs and comments wouldn't hurt either. :)
So that's it for me for the day. Thanks for helping out two great kossacks and two great causes. You guys rock. But you knew that. :)
I'm going to go take a nap now. Whose got the tissues? Good pootie pics and music works too. :)
