Just heard an analyst on Diane Rehm show on NPR quote Woodward's book on Bush that he says in the book he saw no urgency to AL Qaeda pre 9/11. That would seem to prove the point that Clark is making and that Bush ignored the warnings of his terrorism folks directly from the horses mouth.
I think the other thing that is not held up as example that they did not care was the fact that they demoted the office of terrorism czar.
