The L.A. Times reports today that Santa Ana police consider graffiti threats to kill Jerry Brown as "terrorist threats."
Two graffiti messages saying "We gonna kill Gov. Brown 2/14/11" and ""26 more days 4 Brown" were found yesterday at two separate locations in Santa Ana, California.
I suspect this will be labeled as just another isolated incident. The refusal to even acknowledge a pattern is frightening. I also suspect that, as is the case with the Spokane, WA backpack bombing attempt at the MLK parade, the mainstream news media will be reluctant to spotlight the story on the front page.
The evidence exists that certain American citizens feel empowered to take violent action in order to express their Second Amendment rights. The evidence no longer suggests or hints of a domestic terrorist movement. The evidence shows that it's here. And being encouraged on a daily basis by men and women far removed from the actual triggers.
