I usually tune into RT News throughout the day on an regular basis. Last night, I watched it around midnight. Today, I heard that RT News would be giving the gobal protests all-day coverage, so I turned on the television and hit the normal channel (114) in my area.
Strangely, it was unavailable. I searched and re-searched the listings (all 700) of them to make sure it hadn't been moved overnight. It hadn't been moved. It was gone.
I called Comcast Cable to confirm this. After much "troubleshooting" of this mystery, the very nice representative told me that after checking various things, she determined that the channel was no longer available, but did not know when that change had occurred. Their media communications office are closed for the day.
As we know, RT Channel is giving all day coverage to the global protests. It is still available online, but it would appear that they have removed it from their normal television listings so that the average American will not be able to see what is happening today.
If anyone usually watches this channel and cannot find it today, please weigh in.
