Sometimes, things are too good.. a few weeks ago, I wrote in a diary that I truly enjoyed the new Muppet Movie, my kids loved it, I enjoyed it.. and I didn't think anything really political about it outside of the fact that Jim Henson was a truly positive force in our world.

Boy, I should have known better. It didn't take long before Republicans have decided this is a political issue they want to stand on and have decided they are actually a secrete propaganda machine against capitalism... Really? Really?
Fox News has recently exposed the horrible plot... that the muppets are out to show businessmen as EVIL! And it's a giant left wing plot
"It's amazing how low the left wing will go to slander business"
Really? Really?
"Is Liberal Hollywood using class warfare here to brainwash our kids"
Really? Really?
"None of these movies talk about how great oil is.. like powering a hospital" (REALLY?)
"Are there Occupy Wall Street Puppets"
"There Should be! There Should be! There might as well be!"
Ok, let me explain something: the movie uses ARCHETYPES you idiots. You conservative right wingers have been protesting for movies that are family friendly, and here you have a freaking family friendly movie that's good for kids of all ages and you're going to go batshit crazy, but you're willing to throw money at some crap like "Passion of the Christ"
"It's Brainwashing! I thought Sesame Street was about sharing, now it's super liberal.. they had a starving muppet!"
OMG! I can't believe that they would address social issues! It never happens!
"Next thing you know they will have food stamp muppets"
Are you F------'g kidding me!!!!
How low can we go?!?! We're going to pick apart and protest a kids movie as an attack on your agenda?
NO kid walked out of that movie thinking "I will now go march in a protest" They walked out with the message that money wasn't that important and that the cast found old friendships and were happy.. and you're upset at that?@!?@
bangs head on table So much stupidity in the world.
