And who exactly is engaging in class warfare? Seems yesterday President Norquist met with GOP House members, telling them that letting the payroll tax cut, which primarily benefits the middle class, expire, is NOT raising taxes. This creep constantly says that letting tax cuts for the wealthy expire IS raising taxes.

More of my fury after the secret liberal, communist, socialist, fascist symbol below:
Remember when the pro-tax millionaires had a slight altercation with Norquist? They asked him if he would be willing to sign a pledge forgoing all the benefits he received that are paid for by tax dollars. He replied he would gladly do so if he could pay no taxes at all, and they told him to move to Somalia then. I personally would pay his plane ticket. One way. http://thinkprogress.org/...
It sounds as if even Erick Cantor is balking at not considering expiring tax cuts for the middle class as a raise in taxes. The Hill reports: http://thehill.com/...
"House Republican leaders warned their caucus the GOP risks losing its image as the party opposed to tax hikes if it allows the one-year payroll tax break to expire at the end of the year. Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) told his rank and file in a closed-door meeting Wednesday that “taxes are a Republican issue and you aren’t a Republican if you want to raise taxes on struggling families to fund bigger government,” according to a source in the room. The leadership bid for support represents the GOP’s clearest endorsement yet of the tax extension, which is a cornerstone of President Obama’s jobs plan."
Sounds as if the GOP doesn't want to be the party that let middle class tax cuts expire, but will exact a terrible toll in how to pay for the extension: expanding the federal civilian pay-freeze for another 5 years, and cutting federal work force by 10%.
At any rate, in what world is allowing a tax cut for the middle class to expire not equal to raising taxes, but allowing tax cuts for the wealthy expire is raising taxes? I must assume Norquist, by telling the GOP his theory, wants the payroll tax cut to expire and no deal to be made. Also, too, his theory makes him a class-warfare-mother-f***er.
