With the aid of Obama Congress extended the Bush tax program which lets the obscene rich off the estate tax hook.
This is the result of years and millions of dollars of lobbying and campaign contributions to Republican whores.
A small group of American billionaires has conducted a stealth campaign for years to achieve this escape from taxes. Prominent among them is Frank Blethen publisher of the Seattle Times which he has used (subtly) in the campaign.
If he or one of his co-conspirators dies this year or next year they will virtually escape billions of taxes.
How does it feel to be the sucker who gets stuck with their tax bill? Get use to it. It will keep happening until we change the campaign financing mechanism. That of course will never happen. Republicans are not going to allow us to tear down their whorehouse.
These diatribes are usually published first at pornographicpolitics.org.
Being manipulated by Billionaires
Talk about pornographic politics. Let’s talk about obscene wealth. The number of people who are aware that the death (estate) (dynasty) tax game has been manipulated by a small group of obscenely rich American families.
It’s not enough that they are billionaires. They don’t want to pay their fair share of estate taxes.
To this end they have spent millions of dollars on campaign contributions and lobbying. This of course is pretty effective because of course Congressional whores need money the way a camel needs water. Moist of these particular whore are Republicans and they have cleverly labeled the estate (dynasty) tax the death tax. Hey -- you want to make something unattractive associate it with death.
The foremost exponent of repealing the dynasty tax is the publisher of the Seattle Times, Frank Blethen. (You want freedom of the press, own one.) When Blethen articulated the stealth strategy of this group when he told his co-conspirators that they needed to avoid the appearance that the campaign was for the benefit of aging white billionaires. “We need to stress the harm to women and minorities” he told them. Are there a lot of black female billionaires in your neighborhood?
Here is a list of the families who have been actively involved in this campaign to avoid taxation. Notice that among them are our friends the Kochs.

Teddy Roosevelt said that the purpose of the estate tax was to prevent the formation of dynasties, as they were inimical to democracy.
Based on the activities of some of these families we can certainly see that is true. Notice on the list the Kochs who have lately been involved in noxious reactionary activities. The Waltons are not known for their loving treatment of the Walmart employees, except for helping them get on welfare and charity health insurance. And the Gallos! Shades of the grape workers. Wonder how many of those have died from heat exhaustion in the fields lately.
There is of course nothing you can do about this -- except protest to your congressional whore. (Who is probably on their payroll.)
Unfortunately ActBlue and Moveon and organizations like that are tone deaf and dumb on using the power of their organizations to hurt these people. If they had half a brain they would organize boycotts of Walmart and Gallo wine and the advertisers in the Seattle Times.
Gnash you teeth. Get your pitchfork and a torch and come to you local Tahriri Square. The obscene rich are screwing the country blind. (With the help of the Republican whores, of course.)
