Despite a report by Fox News showing that a majority of Americans oppose collective bargaining rights, "union thugs" and their fellow travelers continue to stand their ground.
And not just in Wisconsin anymore.
Solidarity rallies were held today in the capitols of all 50 states, with the crowd in Madison exceeding that of last Saturday's massive gathering.
Meanwhile, the man behind the curtain (and his little dog, too) sent out word that they have no intention of backing down.
Something's got to give.

Elsewhere:
Glenn Beck said something so stupid/offensive that not even he (or the ADL) could defend it.
On his February 22 radio show, Beck compared Reform Judaism to "radical Islam," saying that both were more about 'politics' - changing what is outside of oneself - rather than about 'religion' - changing what is inside of oneself.
Beck began his Thursday radio show by saying, "I made a mistake on Tuesday and I want to make sure you understand I was wrong on it and I apologize on it."
Referring to the comments, Beck said "someone called me 'ignorant' for it and it’s a good description of what I said. I started comparing Judaism to Islamic extremism and it was stupid." He added that he "didn't do enough homework" on the topic.
Speaking of ignoramuses:
While reviewing a leaked manuscript written by a former aide to Sarah Palin – in which we learn that her glasses are a prop to make her look smart (EPIC FAIL) – Wonkette made a startling discovery.
Sarah Palin has apparently created a second Facebook account with her Gmail address so that this fake "Lou Sarah" person can praise the other Sarah Palin on Facebook. The Gmail address is available for anyone to see in this leaked manuscript about Sarah Palin, and the Facebook page for "Lou Sarah" — Sarah Palin’s middle name is "Louise" — is just a bunch of praise and "Likes" for the things Sarah Palin likes and writes on her other Sarah Palin Facebook page. "Lou Sarah" even says "amen" to Facebook posts by Sarah Sarah. [...]
"Lou Sarah" is also friends with some of Sarah Palin’s political appointees. Still, "Lou" has only 12 total friends on Facebook.
"Lou" is a fan of Sarah Palin, Bristol Palin, Mark Ballas (Bristol Palin’s gorilla-costumed dancing partner on Dancing With the Stars), and the Wasilla-based Edge Fitness.
This revelation led to Facebook shutting down the "Lou Sarah" account for violating their Terms of Service.
And in related news:
Christine O'Donnell – the poor man's Sarah Palin – is contemplating putting on her dancing shoes.
Tea Party favorite Christine O'Donnell says she's been invited to be a contestant on TV's "Dancing with the Stars." But the losing Senate candidate from Delaware isn't sure she should accept, saying she has two left feet and a book about politics to complete.
The conservative Republican, who lost to a Democrat amid controversy over past statements about youthful dabbling in witchcraft, is soliciting opinions on her Facebook page.
Follow the yellow brick road.
