Dear,
Barack Obama since you been president I haven't seen any real change on the streets. I have been waiting for the "change" you campaigned about and I have witnessed very little of it. In fact I walk around and still see all the homeless people asking for a quarter every single day. Even when we needed you the most you fall in line with the republicans in cutting social programs that will help our communities. The amount of mental health problems in our communities is at an all-time high. I would know since I was once working with the mental health population. I noticed an increase in very dangerous episodes of random people who need help on our subways and train stations. These individuals can be a really dangerous is we don't take them off the streets and place them under some sort of supervision. I have meet people on the train that also have reached out to me to express their shock at the amount of mental health problems we are witnessing in our society.
We need more programs not less programs to deal with our issues here at home. Maybe if these programs weren't cut we wouldn't have had that governor get shot. Or maybe we could have prevented police officers from shooting individuals that need care and supervision. Since you been in office you rallied your base on health care needs and wants from the American population. But the health care bill left millions of people uninsured and has the current population barely able to pay the current payment plans for the new insurances they will need. I see how both democrats and republicans pass a bill to fund the current military operations abroad. But the American people are fighting a war here against poverty. A class war and it seems that the people who loved you the most and went out there fighting tooth and nail for you the most are the ones who are feeling it the worst. They are losing their homes, going into bankruptcy and can barely feed their families. These are the very same people who donated to your campaign when they had almost nothing to give.
Your grass roots movement still does exist but it seems as you have forgotten about us, as you are locked away in you dungeon. Maybe this letter will get pass the guards and into your hands. We understand that you have to maintain a certain balance, but when that balance no longer exist maybe its time for you to lean a little to your left side. Where you come back and directly talk to the very people who put you over the top. The grass root American movement that surpassed the tea party in numbers. I think it's time you come meet the very people that put you on the throne. And I think it's time you to not compromise but to live up to the ideals of Martin Luther King. J.R. and end this ongoing war. Change America from within even if that means overthrowing the very existence of the Republican Party. Ending the way Wall Street does business and building a world for the workers and by the workers. Starting with a real pro-democracy movement, by ending corporations attempt to influence our politicians and fund political prospects campaign.
Thank You.
Sincerely Yours,
America
