ShelterBox mobilizes quickly for Japanese in need
http://www.cnn.com/...
We had our first people on the ground within 24 hours. There are boxes leaving every day in different numbers. We've got people monitoring our team on the ground minute by minute.
Today, flying back from Calgary, I read the Globe and Mail. As I sat in the airplane seat, I turned my head towards the window to hide my tears. I saw this on the cover of the Globe and Mail.
more after the fold....
I read an article in the Globe and Mail that said that NGOs were taking advantage of the disaster to raise funds. Also, about how disaster areas are dumping grounds for expired mediations, mountains of old shoes and sports T shirts....

Another point made was how Japan is a rich country and can afford to handle disaster.
But I went to the ShelterBox site and found indeed that Shelterbox was on the ground and and hard at work there.

Japan had lots of Rotary Clubs to be on the receiving end of ShelterBox efforts. We need to support ShelterBox from our side to send them help which they desperately need. They are a proud people, but this is obviously too much for them.
Please donate and/or promote ShelterBox as away to support our brothers and sisters in Japan.
