I repulled my neck muscle, today, so I'm back in pain. Again. Crap crap crap. So, I've read zilch today. I've scheduled this diary to post at the usual time, but chances are, I'm already in bed. My sincerest apologies.
Luckily, Renee let me know she wrote a diary which I think you'll find interesting, so today isn't a total bust. You'll find it in the usual location below the Sign of Kosthuhlu.
Further, apologies for the weekend. I had originally meant to post a diary Saturday night, but various other things came up that kept me away. And of course yesterday was Easter Sunday, and while I'm not a Christian, it's a great excuse to get together with family.
Also, there won't be an APC diary tomorrow. This is actually something I've known about for awhile. I just didn't expect it would be capping a long quiet period.
So all in all, it's hard times for A Perfect Conversation. But I'll be back on Wednesday (FSM willing), so please don't write off this group just yet.
A Perfect Conversation is a group for republishing diaries that:
A) Challenge the DK conventional wisdom.
B) Provide information which may lead to new ideas.
or
C) Push for action that is innovative or not just playing defense.
The point is not to agree (or disagree) with these diaries. It's about challenging ourselves to rethink our political philosophies, activities, and issue positions.

In the cyberpunk genre, people work for mega corporations which effectively rule the world. There are few, if any, independent businesses. Our world appears to be headed toward this dystopian future. Can we use capitalism to empower our children and ourselves so that it does not come to pass? |
