Seriously. I wish that, even just once, he would go in front of the cameras and lose his shit because he's tired of putting up with the constant barrage of lies from his opponents and from at least some people in the media.
I fantasize about Obama walking up to the podium and say, "Excuse me, Turtleface McConnell, but what did you say? 'Job-killing tax increases??' You assholes cut the tax rates in 2001 and we just had the worst decade of job-creation since the depression, while the rates we had under Bill Clinton led to 22 million new jobs. So seriously, just stop trying to sell people that snake oil."
I would be elated if Obama would say to the press corps, "The only thing Sarah Palin has ever been successful at is quitting. Why do you morons keep treating her like a person with a valid opinion on world-shaping events?"
I would have stood up and applauded if he had ever said, "Senator Inhofe has his head up his ass about climate change, and unless the Republicans put someone more qualified on the subcommittee that oversees it, I don't think we should take any of them seriously."
Yes, it would be something he'd have to apologize for, but I'd prefer that to the current approach with favors giving in on far too many important items in the name of "compromise".
