Over the last week, all I see are Republican's talking about the budget. They always say the same thing, it is always a lie, and there is never anyone to call them on it.
Just saw the unctuous Boehner and sleazy Cantor crying about the President being mean to them. Boehner even said that the Republican's passed their budget, but failed to comment that his budget required an increase in the debt limit.
I've yet to see a single Democratic leader, other than the President, talk about what's going on. Are the Democrats so ineffectual that they can't get a single person on one of the major networks? Or even the minor ones (CNBC)? There should be an all-out offensive by Democrats telling the truth about the debt and deficit. But they are missing in (in-)action.
7:54 AM PT: On CNBC they actually had a Dem. congressman from NJ that was doing a good job. Though he's ok with raising Medicare eligibility to 67.
