Now look, I understand, a lot of you don't like the constant Obama bashing by a lot of us here on DKos. I can understand your viewpoint that it isn't productive and that sometimes it just becomes an emo-like vent session for some of us to rant. At the same time, a lot of us have real concerns. What are those concerns? They are:
1. The Obama team doesn't really have any direction for the country, they're just reacting to what Republicans propose.
2. The Obama team does not understand the current Republican party.
3. The Obama administration leadership style is always willing to sacrifice 'progressive
solutions" for any deal.
So with that in mind, let's go to Jon Stewart.
It just seems like there's no foresight, no planning, no ideas on what to do if Republicans do what we all expect Republicans to do. Say no. SAY HELL NO!!!
The Obama Administration and the Democrats in Congress say the next big fight is taxes. That they will make sure that the rich and businesses pay their fair share. So I guess I have to ask...what's the plan? If the Republican House votes to make sure there isn't a 'job-killing tax increase' what is your rejoinder? What cover will you give the Corporcrats who hate to even think of taxes going up a smidge. How will you make sure that the media is on your side? Where's the public push? Get the fuck started now if you think you want this to happen. Otherwise, I fear it's just going to be one more clusterfuck that proves my cynicism.
