That NeoCon's NeoCon Paul Wolfowitz warned darkly on Fox News Sunday that more terrorist attacks will be the result of bringing American troops home from Iraq and Afghanistan.
Wolfowitz: Attacks likely if U.S. withdraws too soon
Paul Wolfowitz, the former deputy secretary of defense during the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, warns if the U.S. withdraws too soon from Iraq and Afghanistan, the country risks being attacked again.
“If we come home too fast, I think we’ll get hit again in some way we can’t predict,” he said on "Fox News Sunday." “And if we get hit again we’ll be at war again.”
Obviously Wolfowitz won't care if a few more Americans die needlessly if the U.S. does something illegal and stupid by staying in Iraq where Wolfowitz was so instrumental is squandering so many American and Iraqi lives, and vast sums of money, while savaging the US's Prestige around the world.
Wolfowitz doesn't care if the U.S. and Iraq have formally signed an agreement for U.S. troops to withdraw, just as he doesn't care if an overwhelming majority of Americans want to bring our troops home from Afganistan after ten years of sending them there.
And Wolfowitz certainly doesn't care about Americans like Staff Sgt. Jared Hagemann who's widow Ashley Joppa-Hagemann confronted Wolfowitz's old boss Donald Rumsfeld a couple of weeks ago. Jared Hagemann committed suicide in June rather than face his NINTH deployment. See: Military Widow confronts Donald Rumsfeld at Tacoma book signing
That a War Criminal like Paul Wolfowitz can go on American TV on the Anniversary of the 9/11 Attack and blatantly sow fear that if the criminal wars he helped to start aren't perpetuated indefinitely there will be ghastly consequences for the U.S. is obscene beyond words.
