I just saw breaking news on one of the local channels that the Los Angeles OFA office at Centinela and Jefferson on the West Side was vandalized earlier this evening. The Los Angeles Times has very little on it as of yet. The incident was reported at 7:25 PM PST. The damage wasn't major, an object and/or bb gun pellets broke the glass in the front door and several windows. The LA Times article says that nobody was in the office when it happened, but the local news broadcast said that there were people in the office, and that it was they who called the police. There are no injuries reported. The local news said that detectives were on the way to the scene (curious since it's already around 4 hours since the incident). Workers were seen in the background in the news report cleaning up and working on replacing the glass.
This office is the main OFA office in California and has the office of the state OFA director.
President Obama is due in Los Angeles on Monday for fundraising events.
I'll add more if anything new is available tonight.
