I get a call from the NFIB about every 3 or 4 weeks it seems. They start off with some GOP talking points, and then tell me how hard they are working to overturn the affordable health care act. I usually politely say no. When they ask me for a good time to call back I say next year. So today must be a few weeks from the last time I said call back in a year.
I was quick and to the point today, what I told them is below the squiggle.
1) I do not believe the Affordable Health Care Act is unconstitutional.
2) I do not believe Congress must "reign in unchecked spending". I would like to see stimulus money for more Construction projects from the government.
3) You keep using the term "Job Creator" but I don't think you know what that actually means.
Though the NFIB claims to be "The Voice of Small Business", and "Non-Partisan", I believe it does nothing more than promote a GOP agenda, an agenda that is directly responsible for killing the economy. What you advocate will continue to make it difficult to survive.
What I would like to see is Congress pass The American Jobs Act. You claim that what small business needs is not stimulus, but for government to get off our back.
I disagree.
So as I have told you previously, I am not interested, and you can stop calling me.
Have a nice day.
