Folks, I wish I could say this is a snark, but it's not . . .
Romney appeared in Idaho less than three weeks before the state holds its first-ever caucuses, with 32 delegates at stake. Santorum is surging, coming off three state victories and also showing momentum in key states such as Ohio and Michigan. Romney urged the attendees to caucus for him in Idaho at 7 p.m. on March 6.
“I need your vote because I want to be president,” Romney said.
Wah????
Willard! Dude! You should have realized by now already that the more you open your mouth, the less people like you. While this is probably not one of your top gaffes in recent months ("I'm severely conservative", "Let Detroit Go Bankrupt", "I'm not concerned about the very poor", "380,000 isn't a lot of money", "I can't have illegals, I'm running for office for pete's sake", so on and so forth), it definitely doesn't help with the continuous problem you have of convincing your base that you should be the Republican nominee.
I understand the dilemma. Your whole premise thus far has been 1) you're the most electable against Obama and 2) you have the private sector experience needed to turn the economy around.
Given the recent polls showing Obama with a growing lead against you and the news that economy is starting to improve, I guess this is all you have left?
I need your vote, because I want to be President???? Seriously, Willard??
How's that for a bumper sticker? "Vote RMoney 2012: Because I want to be President"
