Mitt Romney saved the Olympics.
Relying strictly on unbiased third party accounts, the Romney campaign has somewhat reluctantly but necessarily pointed out Mitt's leadership skills.
In the end, Mitt saved the Olympics, saved the athletes, elevated Utah and restored hope to the Country. And he kept us safe from terrorists while doing it. Here's what one Olympic volunteer/employee writes:
"If Mitt was to lead a successful Olympics he would also have to successfully lead the Olympics through America’s largest homeland security operation since 9/11. He did.
Instead of cowering to the threat of terrorism, Mitt Romney and the entire SLOC team doubled down and worked harder than ever to ensure we hosted a successful Olympics. For some on our team, including me, our success became a symbol of our defying the terrorists. Mitt reassured our team that the Olympics would still go forward, and that this was our chance to bring the country and the world together in peace. Mitt’s motivating tenacity along with all of his staff helped us move forward with a “fire within” (2002 Olympics slogan) to defy the naysayers, the terrorists, and the challenges, and to go down in history as having held a great Games for the world."
Those who work with him, realize his incredible leadership.
Moreover, he took over when the Olympics were hundreds of millions in debt and left just a short while later with the games showing a profit. The same volunteer/employee:
"After having managed to erase the Olympics’ $379 million dollar deficit, Mitt Romney had another turnaround success under his belt. ... I am convinced that were it not for Mitt Romney’s effective management of the Olympics turnaround, I wouldn’t have been offered a paid position. Mitt Romney created my job. To my astonishment I discovered years later that Mitt didn’t take a salary while serving as our CEO, and also donated $1 million of his own money for the cause. He selflessly served."
Somebody, I won't name who, but needless to say an asshole, asked me how did Mitt do it. How, for instance, did he solve the Olympic deficit problem. So, I figure, you know what, it's helpless helping liberals but let me try once more. So I google it for him. Apparently, Mitt bought a pizza. Cost five bucks. He asked the pizzeria not to cut the pie. He did it himself. However, instead of the traditional eight slices, we are talking now about sixteen. At a dollar a pop. He netted an eleven dollar profit for the Olympics. That this type of downpayment was made on an almost 379 million dollar deficit in one day is to say the least Corporate America and Romney leadership at its best.
379 million minus 11 dollars is still 379 million. So while I know Mitt was slaying the deficit with his calculator, shaped in the form of an Excalibur, I'm sick of trying to educate liberals and I already did my part by pointing out the pizza. Does anybody know how he resolved the rest of the deficit? Of course, how he did it while keeping our country safe.
