Some reports I have read about the Trayvon Martin debacle say that it was raining the night he was shot/killed/murdered. If it was raining why the F wouldn't he be wearing his hoodie? Why is no one discussing this? Perhaps there has been a discussion of this, but I haven't seen it.
If it's raining outside, people tend to cover their heads. I do. If I don't have an umbrella and I'm wearing a garment that has a hood attached, I generally pull the hood over my head. I trust my experience is the norm. It's pretty logical.
Why then is there no mention of the perfectly logical reason for wearing a hoodie that night? I don't get it. If you wear a hoodie without the hood pulled up are you just as likely to be profiled as a thug? By the way there's a photo of Geraldo and Bill O'reilly both wearing hoodies at a baseball game.
Again, some reports mention it was raining. So my question is: If it's raining outside and you're Hispanic or African American or dark skinned and you don't have access to an umbrella and you put a hood over your head are you still suspicious?
Please, if anyone can prove it wasn't raining that night, put it in the comments.
