Anyone who doubts that President Obama has a solid lead, should simply watch This Week this morning.
The media desperately wants a close election, don't you think?
Well, if you had any doubts about either of the above, find a clip of this show.
I need to scream - figure I'll do it here...
Here's the "powerhouse" round table on OBL:
George Will leads off by saying that if you took me, myself and I out of the English language, Barack Obama would say nothing.
Bay Buchanon then leaps aboard and says Obama doesn't give credit to any of the brave heroes who carried out the raid.
Tavis Smiley then attacks from a different angle, calling MLK the greatest man this country has ever produced, preaching non-violence, then calling Obama "unpresidential" for talking about OBL.
Austin Goolsby gives us a brief respite, quoting Gates and defending the President (think about that, DEFENDING the President for giving the order to kill Osama bin Laden).
Then comes Greta Van Susterpalin to claim that President Obama couldn't have been less magnanimous.
I wanted to scream. Someone please link me any clips of President Obama taking credit for killing Bin Laden and/or not giving credit to the US military and SEAL Team 6. This was the creation of an alternate universe of facts on a major network, aided and abetted by Jake Tapper, of course.
They want a close election. They want tension.
I have never seen a more pitiful display than those 10 minutes on This Week. It was utterly reprehensible, devoid of reality and a simple pile on to attack this President strength and turn it into a weakness. Karl Rove couldn't have scripted that segment better.
Just yuck.
