Have we lost the ability to think critically when it comes to issues such as politics or social agenda? Do we think more with our hearts and less with our minds? If the answer is yes, the question must be why. After all, when was the last time you made a regrettable decision based upon a logical debate. Has the word logic become a taboo; branded to the realm of robots and rodents? Why do people feel the need to say, “I believe because I feel?” Have we degraded to the level of beast with the cognitive power of mice? Gone are the days of Plato, Aristotle, Descartes, and Nietzsche and welcome the arms of idiocracy. Perhaps it is because I have aspersers and lack the ability to feel at the level of the human animal, or maybe society prefers to have others think for them. (Much like an animal in a cage.) We are in a time of tremendous political instability tipped by the fancy of public feeling. Is it too much to ask that we should truly understand the logic of these feeling before we act on impulse? It seems that Emotion binds the heart and blind the mind, thus leading the body to the executioners will. I beg you, as the pages of history plead for the eyes of truth, to use your human identity in discovering the logic of your belief against its fallacies, the merits of the idea against the malignant, and the outcome versus the outcry.
