Since the passing of the Affordable Care Act occurred there has been a hue and cry raised by the Republican party about how it was socialism, freedom destroying and the end of America as we know it. Now any person with a shred of intellectual curiosity and at least minimal critical thinking skills could easily look into these claims and dismiss them as the crock of shit that they very clearly are. Unfortunately, when you take a group of Americans who have been primed by the lies of talk radio and fed with a constant diet of misinformation from Fox News tend to choose not to listen to reason because it never enters their universe.
Now that the constitutionality of the law has been upheld, that stew has boiled over.
Follow me below the fold to see how the toxic stew of fear, lies and misinformation have collided in Mississippi and once again we have calls for the overthrow of the government.
I am going to break the statement down into paragraphs with my analysis of each.

MSTP STATEMENT ON OBAMACARE RULING
6/29/2012
With its 5-4 ruling upholding Obamacare the US Supreme Court has joined with the Executive and Legislative branches of the federal government in abandoning the Constitution, the Rule of Law, and with that ruling abandoned the People. All of us are now simply chattel of the government to be used and ordered about as they choose. The history books will mark this date as the day our constitutional republic was killed. It will now rest with We The People to decide if it will be resurrected or left to rot in the shallow grave dug for it.
The opening paragraph is rife with hyperbole, but honestly isn't very outrageous on it's surface. It hits all the fearmongering high points (chattel of the government, left to rot in it's shallow grave). Pretty standard stuff.
Where is the weeping and wailing? Where is the anger and outrage? Do the people of the country realize what has just been stolen from them? Do the people of the world recognize that the shadow of darkness is now fallen upon them as well and that there remains no defender of their feeble freedoms? The all out oppression of all people has begun.
More anger stoking here, by asking "where is the anger and outrage?" the author is attempting to provoke people from merely being pissed off into full on apoplexy. I especially love the idea that since we passed health care reforms, the rest of the world no longer has a defender of "their feeble freedoms". It's insulting on a couple of different levels the most obvious one being that every other nation on the planet is dependent upon the US for their salvation and that they cannot manage without us. How the ACA destroys our ability to defend other nations freedom is beyond me
Those “occupiers” now controlling the three federal branches of government have joined together in rejecting all Constitutional restraint and in doing so they have severely violated their oaths to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. Together they now stand as blatant usurpers of power and have reduced our constitutional republic, along with all of its freedoms, to nothing more than a dictatorial junta. Becoming a banana republic is next.
Now we are getting somewhere. Note the use of "occupiers" in scare quotes designed to challenge the legitimacy of duly elected officials, the accusations of treason, and the assertion that we are living in a dictatorial junta and are rapidly on our way to becoming a banana republic. To paraphrase a South Park episode "This is what Tea Partiers actually believe".
When a gang of criminals subvert legitimate government offices and seize all power to themselves without the real consent of the governed their every act and edict is of itself illegal and is outside the bounds of the Rule of Law. In such cases submission is treason. Treason against the Constitution and the valid legitimate government of the nation to which we have pledged our allegiance for years. To resist by all means that are right in the eyes of God is not rebellion or insurrection, it is patriotic resistance to invasion.
And here's the money paragraph. I've bolded the most important bit of text but the whole thing is a cry for the good people of the MS Tea Party to take up arms against the government. All the rhetoric about occupiers has now reached it's culmination. Not only is it not treason to revolt
it is treason to not revolt . Note the line "In Such cases submission is treason". That lays it out pretty succinctly doesn't it. Not only does it support violent overthrow but it tells the reader that anyone who doesn't support such is in fact a traitor themselves and therefore a legitimate target. Now you may note that the very last sentence puts in an escape hatch by saying "To resist by all means that are right in the eyes of God is not rebellion and insurrection." See how smart that was? That way they can say "of course we aren't advocating killing police officers and judges and DMV employees, we said anything that was right in the eyes of God. It's a way to weasel out of the otherwise brutal rhetoric and say that you were really meaning the ballot box, not the bullet box.
Last paragraph
May all of us fall on our faces before the Heavenly Judge, repent of our sins, and humbly cry out to Him for mercy on our country. And, may godly courageous leaders rise up in His wisdom and power to lead us in displacing the criminal invaders from their seats and restore our constitutional republic.

Now this is the final attempt to paint this in a "no really we're just talking about voting out the Democrats, not shooting them" light. But I'm sorry, you can't have it both ways, you can't call for violent overthrow and then at the very end of your rant put a tiny disclaimer sentence that makes it all ok. Especially if that disclaimer still uses your dehumanizing rhetoric in it.
In summary, once again we have a right wing group advocating violent overthrow of the government, and when Obama gets reelected (yes I said when not if, I have faith), are there going to be members of this group who will move from rhetoric into action? I think so.
