First Nations News & Views publishes every Sunday at 4:00 PM Pacific
Today is the day before we return to publishing First Nations News & Views after a one month summer vacation. So I'm going to be researching and writing all day plus checking in on this diary. I love reading all the comments! Same tomorrow regarding writing all day. I'm proud of our product but it is a labor of love.
What I'd really like is just one more week of summer vacation. I'd love to spend a weekend at my favorite resort in Calistoga, the Solage, in Napa Valley's Wine Country. I'd spend the morning in their gym lifting weights and taking a group spin class. Then a lovely lunch by the salt water pool followed by wine tasting all afternoon. There are a zillion fantastic restaurants to choose from for dinner. It will be hard to select one.
On Sunday, rinse and repeat, except for I'd add in a couple of hours of spa treatments. Calistoga is known for its various mineral mud treatments.
Yeah, that's what I'd rather be doing.
YOUR TURN: What are you doing today and what would you rather be doing?

I'm listening.
