PAUL RYAN: What I see is a new amount of crony capitalism and corporate welfare which both parties have been engaged in, but the President has brought this to a whole new level, where President Obama is picking winners and losers based on connections, based on fads like Solyndra and basically giving handouts to businesses, giving preferences to tax code. We want to get Washington out of the business of picking winners and losers. We want entrepreneurs to have the barriers removed from in front of them, so that people can work hard and succeed. We want to turn the American idea back on. We want a system of upward mobility, and what we think we need to do is bring fairness back to the system of getting government bureaucracy and political clout out of the system. Those are the kinds of reforms we’ve been talking about.

And Ryan has a long history of bashing all things environmental or climate-based ... no questions asked.
Meet Paul Ryan: Climate Denier, Conspiracy Theorist, Koch Acolyte
by Brad Johnson, ThinkProgress, truth-out.org -- 12 August 2012
Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), Mitt Romney’s vice-presidential pick, is a virulent denier of climate science, with a voting record to match.
A favorite of the Koch brothers, Ryan has accused scientists of engaging in conspiracy to “intentionally mislead the public on the issue of climate change.” He has implied that snow invalidates global warming.
Ryan has voted to prevent the Environmental Protection Agency from limiting greenhouse pollution, to eliminate White House climate advisers, to block the U.S. Department of Agriculture from preparing for climate disasters like the drought devastating his home state, and to eliminate the Department of Energy Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA-E):

Exclusive: Republican Budget Chairman Paul Ryan Spoke At The Koch Strategy Meeting
by Lee Fang ThinkProgress -- Feb 2, 2011

ThinkProgress has now learned of another attendee addressing the Koch meeting: House Budget Committee Chairman Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI). Ryan’s office confirmed his attendance this afternoon to ThinkProgress. Ryan, who has a long record of flying off to junkets for groups of bankers like the Club for Growth, is pushing forward with radical cuts to Medicare and Social Security in his “Roadmap for America’s Future.” In line with Koch’s peculiar supply-side side ideology of soaking the the poor, Ryan’s budget idea also calls for increasing taxes on the middle class, while cutting them for the rich. Other Republican legislators were at the event, including Majority Leader Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA).

Koch Industries ranks as the Wisconsin Republican's sixth-largest source of campaign money throughout his [Ryan's] career, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, which says the company's PAC and affiliated individuals have given him a total of $65,500 in donations.
That also ranks Koch as Ryan's biggest energy-related donor, based on the center's tally. It says energy- and natural resources-related contributors have given Ryan a total of $432,181 during his career, including $244,250 from the oil and gas industries.

So, is Paul Ryan doing the Koch Brothers' Bidding?
Those are some of the Koch-Ryan facts -- so you decide.
No wonder Romney picked him -- given the $200 million Koch-based Ad Campaign hanging in the balance -- poor old Mitt probably was given little choice. But to do the Koch bidding too.
Bad news is -- this probably means the Koch Brothers are "all in" ... So prepare for even more of the Solyndra-mud to be slung -- Paul Ryan willing of course.
