Don't stop now. Get in there and fight. Call them out. Hold them to account. Support our side. Talk up our candidates. Volunteer. Get out the vote. Remain outraged. Point out all of Romney's stupid moves. Praise Obama's many accomplishments as President (not just his likability as a person, which almost everyone will admit is higher than Romney's).
But this thing is over.
Doyle Mc Manus, in today's Los Angeles Times:
In an ABC News/Washington Post poll released this week, for example, only 2% of voters said they couldn't predict how they would vote on Election Day. That's right: 2%.
In many polls, Obama's lead is much higher than that, as well as being outside the margin of error. There are almost no "persuadables" in this election cycle. If the Romney campaign is counting on those people to move mountains for him, those folks are going to be waiting for a while.
Mitt Romney's epic fail today on this Libya tragedy is only going to hasten the process. Even his side is bailing on him like rats leaving a sinking ship, with only the deadendiest of deadenders like Palin and Gingrich having his back.
You could say today is the day that Mitt Romney lost, but honestly I think it's been an ongoing process for some time now. Today's Smirkfest was just the proverbial straw the broke the camel's back.
Get your forks out. And stick a fork in Mitt Romney, he's done.
(NOTE: Waiting patiently for the winger bawling in mock outrage that "some lefty on the Daily Kos actually suggested that Mitt Romney be stabbed with a fork! The degenerates! Typical of them!" Um, no, that's just a saying. Like, Mitt Romney is toast.)
And he is. Already. And almost two months to election day, with no debates even performed yet. Get the popcorn ready.
