Sometimes, they fall right out of the sky.
Like this comment in my in-basket this morning from someone named Jules Manson. He’s referring to the tweet made by the young Texas lad on Dec. 30 about how his new year’s resolution is to murder the President of the United States.
You can see the comment for yourself here.
Now. Check out this guy’s e-mail address.

No. Seriously? A comment like that, defending a kid for threatening the life of the President? And he is or was a candidate for public office?
(Stop drooling. Stop. Regain control.)
Lord? Would you really send me such a blessing on the day before my birthday?
(The Parkinson’s disease tremors start. Must control them. The excitement. The sheer bliss. And he sent this to a website DEVOTED to rooting out right wing nut jobs!)
Wait. Pull back on the excitement. Let’s make sure this came from the actual candidate. Check the IP address.

Sure as hell… Goes right to Carson, California!
Still, let's make sure. Let’s do a Whois search on this guy’s site. Make sure it’s not all just a gag.

OK. Domains By Proxy means he just doesn’t want his real address out there. But the website is more than a year old. It wasn’t just created. So… let’s meet...
JULES MANSON!
Here’s the tagline of his website.
A mind flood of enlightenened viewpoints and analysis.
Here is what he was running for.
City Council of Carson, California.
He’s a libertarian. (Wouldn’t you know it?)
Here are the events that spurred his momentous decision to unleash his mind flood of enlightened viewpoints and analysis on the good people of Carson, California.
Key Events Leading to and Solidifying My Decision to Run for Local Office
Since 2007, my mobile-home park owner has taxed all homeowners $50/month for capital improvements.
Since 2008, my mobile-home park owner successfully petitioned to raise our lease rates despite the recession.
In 2008, California became the highest taxed state in the union despite the mortgage bubble that crashed the economy.
In 2009, I discovered the city was running a deficit that I knew would it would tax us for.
In 2009, the deceptive measure C utility tax was placed on ballot by current council and passed.
The years 2009 and 2010 saw massive bailouts to Wall Street and exposed massive salaries and bonuses to officers of failed companies.
In 2010, the deceptive measure H was placed on ballot, by current council, which attempted to add another 1% to our already very high sales tax.
In 2010, the City of Bell scandal broke which may result in California taxpayers having to cover the pensions that City of Bell may not be capable of honoring for the very same crooks behind this scandal.
In 2010, I discovered city hall was overstaffed with about 500 employees on payroll. What do they do?
In 2010, city hall was paying a city manager a compensation package worth nearly $300,000 per year. He has since been relieved of his duties however there are still other over-compensated under-managers at city hall.
In 2010, the owner of my mobile home park cited most homeowners with multiple violations and all were only given seven days to make repairs. I had to complete $2000 in repairs or get evicted and forfeit home.
In 2010 and 2011, the Patriot Act was extended by Obama administration.
Every year utility rates keep creeping up despite the recession.
I AM NOT MAKING ANY OF THIS UP!!!
(Excuse me. Have to change my t-shirt. Drooling.)
He was endorsed by the 2011 Election forum, though!
So… apparently he WAS a candidate for the March 8 municipal elections in southern California. Wonder how he did…
Oh… Jesus…
For two vacant seats, there were five candidates.
Lula Davis-Holmes 4597 votes — 29.4%
Elito M. Santarina 4243 votes — 27.1%
Harold Williams 3677 votes — 23.5%
Michael “Mike” Mitoma 2575 votes — 16.5%
Jules C. Manson 550 votes — 3.5%
And this guy is laughing at US?
You can read them for yourself if you want to. But here are the headlines from latest posts on his blog. Such as it is.
From Yesterday. FEMA Camps are Concentration Camps
Also from Yesterday. Ten Reasons the War on Drugs Is Really a War on You
From Dec. 29. You Are a Slave
From Dec. 27. An Open Letter to Police Officers and Our Heroes in the Military
That’s right! Join Oath Keepers! That when when Obama tells you to round up “whitey,” you won’t have to obey the orders!
And then, you gotta go way back to the night before the election, March 7, to see this one.
The Night Before
Tomorrow will be a big day like no other in my life. I do not think my wedding day felt this big. But please do not tell my ex-wife. My campaign was a long four-month job interview that cost me plenty of money for a job that doesn’t even pay all that well but the rewards are immense. Not selfish rewards for myself but rewards for the entire community. And, a chance to make history by doing something very positive for my beloved city. I am doing this for the right reasons.
The Daily Breeze reports, Carson to air live coverage of city election on March 8, however I prefer to be present for the count at City Hall to watch our hard work unfold (or fold) on-the-scene in real-time.
Oh. It folded. It folded faster than Superman on laundry day.
But Jules, please don’t let this stop you from posting on my website again. The fact that it isn’t just big-breasted bleached blonde sorority chicks defending Taylor Ross Huffman’s right to threaten the life of the President of the United States gives us all hope and a reason to go on living just one more today.
OK. I gotta do this. I gotta see where else this guy pops up on Google!
(OK. I admit it. I saw this next part, and had to get up and go change my underwear.)
Headline from the Dec. 20 New York Daily News!
From further down in the story.
Manson, a rabid supporter of Tea Party pioneer Ron Paul, called for Obama’s assassination in a recent Facebook post that criticized the President’s decision last week to support a revised military authorization bill.
He blasted the new legislation as an assault on constitutional protections.
“Assassinate the f—– (N-word) and his monkey children,” he goaded, according to a screen grab obtained by YourBlackWorld.com.
An angry backlash quickly ensued, and Manson deleted the posting from his account but defended his right to spew hate.
Oh, I just LOVE surprises!
He claimed Libertarian gubernatorial candidate Dale Ogden had endorsed him, but Ogden said he did not recall giving a formal endorsement when he met Manson while handing out Libertarian party literature at a street fair.
“He might have been, perhaps, a bit more hard-core than most Libertarians, but I am surprised and puzzled by his specific advocacy of an assassination,” Odgen told the Daily News in an email.
Ogden said he did not consider Manson “a serious threat” after obtaining an oath of non-violence from him via Facebook Monday.
The Secret Service still considers this an “Open Investigation.” I believe I will send this post to their attention.
How can today get any better? And my birthday’s not even until TOMORROW!!!
