of his victory speech tonight. I guess it is debatable.
His entire speech was a misinterpretation of the way things are and how they got to be that way. His snide remark about Obama saying 'remember what got us here' in his SOTU address, then insinuating it was his election into office that got us there. When it was the fiscally irresponsible, and criminally greedy actions of Republicans that completely fucked the economy.
I should say the lie that resonated with me the most.
'Making the Country more attractive to business and corporations, and create jobs and stimulate the economy'.
Hmmm, where...the fuck..have i heard that before.
O yeah when he ran for Gov. of Mass.
Never happened. Any jobs created in Mass. under his watch would have been created with or without him there. Not because of his 'brilliant business sense'. He never did anything in this state he could brag about.
Phoney piece of shit who knows nothing of , and doesn't really believe in, public service .
People who worked in the state house during his reign said he was a closed fucking door. Isolated from the rest of state govt. Wanting nothing to do with the little people.
He was there for one reason only to launch a Presidential campaign. All show no substance. Funny how he actually never mentioned the state by name,(kinda glad, embarrassed he was elected). But, Most Govs. are proud of the sates they served, and proclaim their pride in their public service to that state, and actually refer to the state by name. Not Mitt. Because the state means nothing to him, like this country means nothing to him. No matter how many shitty ass renditions of 'America the Beautiful ' he sings.Treasonous troll burying his money off shore, when he could have actually truly been a job creator is he were patriotically inclined.
I take comfort in the fact that he's so much more transparent now then he was then.
The line that most sent a shiver down my spine was when he mentioned a 'new age of prosperity'.
Because he was being truthful there. There will be a new age of prosperity for the ones who have already prospered. Millionaires will become Billionaires.
But maybe that will 'trickle down' to us working stiffs huh Willard?
