More good polling news out of the Rand poll, which is a unique tracking poll which polls the same group of 1500 individuals so that it is easy to avoid the problem of getting a completely different sample of voters each time.
In the Rand poll, Obama's percentage have been improving for the last two days, while Romney's has been getting worse for three straight days.
Over this period Obama's margin went from +1.8% to about +3.7%.
Also, we had good polls in Ohio from PPP (Obama +5 in Ohio, BETTER than the +4 he had before the debate) and Arizona (Obama +2--while of course I don't expect Obama to win Arizona, it suggests that he is at least still competitive).
So I know folks are a bit down over the Rasmussen numbers this morning, but I am expecting to see something better from Gallup and Reuters later. In any event, there is at least some evidence that Romney's post-debate bounce is finally starting to fade, and that Biden had a very good debate on Thursday. But really it's up to Obama on Tuesday! I know my cousin (8th cousin once removed to be exact) will come through for the big day!
