Counting her days left in Congress?
Michele Bachmann's opponent, Jim Graves, isn't just an Orange to Blue candidate, he's now an official
Red to Blue candidate, meaning that the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee sees a real chance to beat Bachmann in November.
“Jim has proven his commitment to standing up for the middle class and creating good-paying jobs for Minnesotans,” DCCC Chairman Rep. Steve Israel said in a press release. “During Congresswoman Michele Bachmann’s career in Washington, she has been more focused on being a national right-wing celebrity than on delivering for the Minnesota families she represents. Voters are experiencing buyer’s remorse with Congresswoman Bachmann and her relentless desire to put ideology over solutions.”
That means more logistical and fundraising support for Graves, and some DCCC ads against Bachmann, who has received far more exposure to voters in Minnesota because of her quixotic run for the Republican presidential nominee. That run, perhaps more than anything else, damaged Bachmann's favorability in the district and provided a real opening for Graves.
Help Graves celebrate this latest accomplishment, and help him beat Bachmann.
