Grab onto those poor protesting workers outside of Sensata and run with them? I can't imagine a single swing voter who would not find their story compelling, and who does not know someone in their own circle who has faced a similar "train your cheaper replacement" plight.
Yes, some in the mainstream media say that to call Romney's Bain Capital "Pioneers of Outsourcing" is an overstatement, (thank you, New York Times), and that may be accurate. Perhaps somebody did it before Bain - like, I don't know, GM.
But the fact remain, that Bain is Romney's baby, his primary source of income, (after his inheritance), and as such, gives the American people a window onto his soul that his Mormon faith does not. He is, at heart, someone who has spent a lifetime benefiting from the misfortunes of others, even when he was not directly causing them.
In fact, he is so aligned spiritually and ethically, with Bain Capital and its ilk that it is hard to comprehend why he would seek a job so unprofitable as the Presidency. Unless of course, his Presidency, would merely be the Trojan Horse that would open the gates of the country for the full-on rape and pillage of what's left of the economy by Bain and the rest of his cronies. That would make sense.
And yes, it's frustrating that no major media outlets are covering these 170 workers and the millions of American workers they symbolize, but we already know who pays for the news. What's Obama's excuse?
