I don't know why I searched for "Obama" today on Facebook. I think I wanted to see how many likes he had compared to Romney, but what I found was interesting.

Yep, when you do a search for "Obama" on Facebook, Romney's Facebook page comes up. I'm pretty sure that you can pay for certain keywords to get your page to pop up (say "President," "election," or "2012" would be good for Romney). However, I am trying to fathom why Mitt would want his page to come up when searching for "Obama."
I can't imagine this comes up by accident. (ie, I get Romney ads on dailykos from time to time, but I assume this is because it's tagged as a "political" site and the word "Romney" is also used quite frequently). But a search term ad is a bit of a different beast to my knowledge. It's more targeted, more specific. (Someone who may know a little more about this please correct me if I'm wrong -- my knowledge of these things may be a little out of date.)
The only thing I can think of right off the bat is Mitt's poor media planning strategy thus far (paying way more for TV ads by buying them at the last minute, for instance).
