I have nothing against anyone who didn't want to fight in the Vietnam war. Even though I come from a family with several decorated vets, if you didn't want to end up in Southeast Asia, I won't hold it against you. However if you ducked out the war after mouthing off about how necessary it was and now want to act like you're all about the military - you're dead to me.
Once I explained to my Uncle who served that Mitt had skipped off to France for 2 1/2 years at the height of Vietnam, he really didn't want to vote for the guy. And I've encountered others who have been duped into thinking Mitt somehow has a military background.
Obama needs to kindly make Mitt expose this fact to the TV audience during the next debate. There's a simple way to do it without sounding nasty.
Right off the bat, Obama just needs to tell Mitt, "I'd like to thank Gov. Romney for his service to our country during the Vietnam War."
Watch Mitt squirm as he has to explain where he was when he should have been "representing" our country. Or will he remain quiet and let the media jump all over his non-military record. This is the man eager to put American lives at risk to do Bibi's bidding. Let the people know that he never risked his own in uniform.
