Could the GOP have shat itself in the foot?
Shot. Shit. Whatever.
The games in Florida, Ohio, NC, and elsewhere have angered people all over. Even my GOP dad has gotten pissed about it.
Scott's bullshit anti voting moves have pissed off the locals.
In Ohio, the secstate is trying to toss thousands of valid votes.
There are other examples, none of them good.
One of Dave "fancy steps" Gregory's favorite memes has been the so-called enthusiasm gap on the left. Seeing 23,000 turn out for Obama, while Romney has to bus his supporters in tells me that this gap is not as big as TeaBuggerers, Koch-heads, and KKKarlRovians would like.
Even if it did exist at some point, these attacks on democracy have had a great impact - getting people out to vote.
Just take Miami. They closed a voting place because of TOO MUCH demand for early voting!
Unless this election is stolen, I see a blowout tomorrow. In our favor.
But people tossing valid ballots, drive by vote theft, and other games do threaten our country, our democracy. If we lose because of that, some people may take to the streets. Not that I advocate that.
