This is my first diary so forgive me if I am violating some posting rules and guidelines.
Before Obama's re-election, we had so many cases of greedy business owners and CEOs threatening their vulnerable employees to not vote for Obama. Now, Obama is re-elected, they are out in full force to tarnish and sabotage the Patient Protection & Affordable Care Act. Every time I hear a story about some asshole business person threatening to cut employees' hours or charge surcharge to cover ObamaCare, I am tempted to start boycotting that establishment. However, I am torn with that decision because it will eventually hurt the people who we are trying to protect. If these businesses go under, it will be the employees who will lose their jobs and suffer the most since I am sure the fat cats have been stashing away money in their safe havens (not to mention their golden parachutes.)
Does the DailyKos community have a comprehensive list of businesses who are playing this risky game? What should we do about them without hurting the people whom we are trying to support to begin with?
From what I have read the last couple of days, these businesses come to mind (not in any specific order):
1. Papa Johns
2. Applebees
3. Davis Ace Hardware
4. Denny's
...
[Updated as per the comments below]
5. AETNA
6. Jimmy John's
7. Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Longhorn (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/...)
8. Hurricane Grill & Wings (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/...)

I am very glad that my first diary has resulted in a lively discussion. Thanks to all the people who are commenting and rec'ing my diary!
Several people have asked me to include a caveat that corporations/franchisors of some of the companies listed above have spoken out against the individual franchisee who is causing them this headache. That being said, I am not sure if the burden is on us to pinpoint and isolate the specific stores (the fact that these greedy CEOs/owners/franchisees are tainting the brand of their parent corporation should result in more internal pressure.)
