Nate Silver is obviously a Republican operative who is trying to drive down the Democrats enthusiasm for their candidates my releasing results that show Democrats with chances less favorable than they actually are. Look at the election results that Silver got absolutely wrong.
Heidkamp with 8% percent chance of winning and losing by 4.4%. She won.
Tester with a 34% chance of winning and losing by 1.5%. He won.
The total number of Senate seats held by the Democrats, including Independents expected to caucus with the Democrats: Silver predicted they would only get 52.5 seats. They won 55.
And in Florida, Silver gave Obama a 50 /50 chance to win and the votes tied. Obama will win Florida when all votes are counted.
Silver gave Obama only 313 Electoral votes. Obama will win 332.
It's obvious to that he shameless "reads" numbers into polls that just are not there. He might as well join Fox News.
Want to see two truly competent, unbiased prognosticators whose model got every election since 1980 right (except one)? Look at the predictions of University of Colorado Professors Kenneth Bickers and Michael Berry. Conservatives tried to get some attention to these two professors before the election but the Lame Stream Media would not pick up the story.
Colarado Professors' Election Prediction
12:46 PM PT: Republicans were complete wrong in spewing hatred at Nate Silver and accusing him fo as being a Democractic mole trying to give Obama a greater chance that he had. In fact, Nate Silver objectively reads data. His predictions were amazingly accurate. Nothign proves their stupidity better than to point out that that to the exent his predictions were off (nobody expects perfection), they actually favored Republicans.
