I've never posted one of these pooties and woozles diaries before, but this breaking news about First Dog Bo bringing us some exciting Christmas Eve news at the annual reading of "Twas the Night Before Christmas," by the First Lady, Michelle Obama, at the Children's Medical Center seems worthy of an exception.
Michelle Obama Reads ''Twas The Night Before Christmas' At Children's National Medical Center, Bo Steals The Show (VIDEO) by Adam Goldberg.
First Lady Michelle Obama recently took some time to read the holiday classic "'Twas The Night Before Christmas" to kids at Children's National Medical Center. But one creature was stirring, and it was the Obama family dog, Bo.
Just as the FLOTUS was getting ready to start, the large Portuguese Water Dog jumped into her lap and made himself comfortable for the remainder of the reading.
"This is exactly what he does at home," said the First Lady. "He tries to beat Malia and Sasha to my lap."
Goldberg tells us that the White House Blog reports, "paying a visit to the young patients at the Children's National Medical Center is a holiday tradition that dates back to the 1950s, when Bess Truman was First Lady."
Yesterday, President Obama posted the above beautiful picture of Bo frolicking in the snow.
Anyone wanting to complain about this will be barking up the wrong tree.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all, and and to all woof, woof, woof!
