My apologies for the short diary, but wanted to get this out before I went to work
Clooney's stay in jail was "nice". Well, good for him. He was trying to forcibly cross a police line and was arrested for doing so. And he got 3 hours in a "nice" jail and a $100 fine.
How many times did we read on Kos of Occupy members arrested en-masse, including reporters, politicians, senior citizens, and people peacefully sitting on the ground?. And they got thrown in the tank for 24 hours or more, often with no care beyond that.
Or just peruse the many diaries here that have documented these sorts of arrests:

Occupy San Diego Sheriff Admits Protesters Arrested Forced to Urinate in Van and Bus (doesn't sound nice, doesn't it?)
I got tired of Democrats arresting peaceful Occupy protesters so I wrote them a letter (seems like both sides are happy with this arresting thing)
What better evidence for "one law for rich and one for the poor?". Or perhaps one law for people in the spotlight and one law for everyone else?
EDIT: Based on feedback let me make it clear this is not really about George Clooney - it's about a multi-tier legal system that favors whites over non-whites, rich over poor, well-connected over anonymous.
