I don't have much time at all for Facebook at my job. I check it only on my lunch hour.
I saw a comment by a friend who worked with me at the World Trade Center (he's a Republican). he was commenting on a post by a friend of him.
My blood started to boil when I read the three comments.
The is the video from CNN - sorry about the commercial)
Here's what made my blood boil....

I watched the clip, and it is outrageous that the Republicans are upset because of the
comment by the president "If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon." This is not racist, it is the truth, and that the president empathizing with this tragic event should be seen as anything but a good thing is beyond me!
I usually poke and prod my Republican friend, but gently, as we share the experience of losing friends on 9/11, but I don't think he's getting off lightly this time. I am going to ask him directly what was wrong with the president's words.
On Tuesday, he signed a petition for Trayvon Martin and I thanked him.
But then he entered right-wing bubble machine/echo chamber.
I have a feeling he is still in the Fox/Hannity/Rush bubble. I don't think much penetrates this murk. Ever.
