and the unintended consequences of Stand Your Ground.
If I were to be walking through George Zimmerman's neighborhood with my hoodie up and a swagger that warns people that I'm a bad-ass mofo, and George Zimmerman spotted me as a I walked in the shadows between street lamps, and I know exactly who George Zimmerman is and his actions of the last month lead me to fear for my safety, wouldn't I be legally justified in taking action to defend myself against the threat he poses to my safety?
And now that George Zimmerman fears for his safety (see this Reuter's story this morning on Yahoo), isn't George justified in taking action against the next person he sees on the street who looks twice at him with a menacing glare?
This Stand Your Ground nonsense must end. If you live in a state with SYG laws, contact your state legislator and demand that they revoke this horrible wild west law.
