I can't say I was ever a fan of television sitcoms centered around children. So I don't, in fact, know who most of these former child stars are. But seven of them (Christine Lakin from Step by Step, Kenn Michael from The Parent Hood, Josie Davis from Charles in Charge, Keith Coogan from Adventures in Babysitting, Jeremy Licht from The Hogan Family, Maureen Flannigan from Out of this World, and Brice Beckham of Mr. Belvedere) have formed Child Celebrities Opposing Kirk Cameron (or CCOKC) and released a video, which you can see after the flip.
At least until Funny or Die makes youtube pull the plug, here's the video:
According to Cameron, it's all Piers Morgan's fault.
On Morgan's show to promote his new Christian-themed movie, Cameron let loose the following garbage:
Marriage is almost as old as dirt, and it was defined in the garden between Adam and Eve. One man, one woman for life till death do you part. So I would never attempt to try to redefine marriage. And I don't think anyone else should either. So do I support the idea of gay marriage? No, I don't.
--Kirk Cameron
Personally, I can't see how that could have been taken out of context in any way whatsoever.
And there is absolutely no context that improves the following statement, when asked his views on homosexuality:
I think that it's unnatural. I think that it's detrimental, and ultimately destructive to so many of the foundations of civilization.
