After the cut: a transcript of Mr. Romney's remarks.
WOMAN IN AUDIENCE: I'm wondering, how do you think women's individual lives would change? How would their children's lives change if you were elected president?
MITT ROMNEY: I think the uh, the biggest change is that women will be able to look at their children and say, um, that the future's gonna be brighter than the past. That America's going to be safe and secure. The economy's gonna get better. Our schools will get better. We'll have a president who will, will set an example of, of uh, tough decision-making and, and honesty. And integrity. And uh, and that that president's gonna do everything in his power to make America strong and, and an economy that's prosperous, so that when your kids go to school, you'll know that when they come out of school they're gonna have a job. And, and I, I believe that, that the best thing I can say to a young man or to a young woman that's raising a family is that if I'm president, I'll make the future brighter.
