I realize that many people across this country know what's at stake here in Wisconsin in regards to the recall efforts we are undertaking. And I've come to realize that we are not fighting this alone, for that there is a gift below the orange croissant.
Many times during the past year, I have to admit, I've had my doubts as to whether we could ever pull off the signatures, let alone go up against the tyrannical Koch brothers in our fight to restore democracy to the great state of Wisconsin. But each time I started to feel pessimism overcome me, I came to the Daily Kos to renew my energy, and to realize that I am not alone, and that Wisconsin is not alone in this fight.
Words of encouragement have rung through these diaries, enabling myself to continue this fight. Support from all over our nation have come in as little as one sentence comments on others' diaries, to complete diaries dedicated to this fight. People, I can't tell you how much those words mean. To know that we here in Wisconsin have brothers and sisters in the field of battle with us, is a huge huge boost to my soul when I am tired as I'm sure it is to others as well.
When Scott Walker talks about outside help the recall effort is getting, he makes the assumption that it's all financial. He has no idea what a true grassroots effort is, and has no idea what the power of the people can do. He doesn't realize this fight is not just about collective bargaining. He doesn't realize that people have awoken and are not going to stand by and watch 100 years of advancement of the working class be brought down by the puppets of a few who want nothing more than to destroy this great nation.
Thank you fellow kossacks, from the bottom of my Badger blood pumping heart, for helping this Wisconsinite stay energized towards this fight. Alone we cannot defeat the beast, but together we can defeat them all.
Solidarity!!!
