Hello Daily Kos. I feel strongly that if this could go viral, we could impact the voter turnout against Walker substantially.
If every voter brought/found one voter who might not otherwise vote (he/she was not educated about Walker, was sympathetic to Barret but had no ride to the polls etc. etc.,) we could tip the election. The "IDEA" of "buddy voting" would have to catch on quickly and be pumped enthusiastically by all of us. Sort of like buy one get one free. It's an easy idea and probably more fun if people knew everyone was doing it. The good things about it are: 1. It doesn't demand a lot of work. 2. It's a kind of fun idea and would make people feel one vote richer. 3. It has a real chance of working if it were to really catch on. In my imagination I see thousands of WI kossacks, occupy warriors, and regular folks saying to each other....."Have got your voting buddy lined up yet???" :))) And it has to be someone that wasn't planning to vote!
So, that's my idea, the rest is up to you guys with great connections, more creativity than I, and the Universe. I grew up in Neenah, WI and now live in MI. I hate seeing what Walker has done to my home state. In closing....Scott Walker needs to be made an example of. Big time. He stands for most everything that is rotten and rotting in our country.
