Breaking News out of Egypt.
The Egyptian High Court has ruled that the elections that took place last year were unconstitutional and, as a result, the legislature may be suspended as a large group of the elected members are ineligible
The constitutional court in Cairo declared that one-third of the lower house of parliament was elected unconstitutionally, according to the Washington Post.
"The makeup of the entire chamber is illegal and, consequently, it does not legally stand," the court said.

This comes on basically the eve of the presidential election and threatens to throw the somewhat stable, if fragile, situation in Egypt into total chaos.
It will be interesting to see how the Muslim Brotherhood - who have played a major role in maintaining that stability - will react to this ruling which seems to favor the old regime.
