First, let me say I am disappointed by this weekend’s election results in Greece. I am deeply concerned for the people of that country, in particular the young, who will be radicalized by the catastrophe brought on by inept leadership (New Democracy and PASOK) along with German financial totalitarianism. Why? Although I am not Greek, my wife is of Greek Ancestry. Read on below the squiggly line.
I don't hold out much hope for Greece even with the "liberal" media touting the Goldman Sachs, I mean New Democracy Party coming out on top. Fact is, and there is little reporting to this affect; the majority of voters in the birthplace of Democracy voted against the policies of the New Democracy party.
How can ND claim any legitimacy with that simple fact facing them? PASOK is saying they will not join the government if Syriza dosen't and Syriza has said they won't join a ND lead government. One should keep their eyes on PASOK to see if they live up to their word on this matter - I wonder, considering they are as corrupt as New Democracy.
Say they do keep their word and New Democracy cannot form a government - likely considering New Dawn will not ally with them. No more likely that Syriza could form a government either considering no one will deal with New Dawn (who would ally with Nazi's), and the Communists will not ally with anyone.
Thus, it may come to pass that Greece implodes and is forced to have yet another election.
My feelings go out to the majority of people in Greece. One would hope they take the same path as Argentina, default and get out of the German financial noose they are hanging from.
