According to reports from the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Mitt Romney will launch Ohio Women for Mitt tomorrow.
This comes as Romney faces a massive 20-point gender gap in the latest Ohio poll.
So who did Mitt line up as co-chairs of his new team? Two Republican political wives (Mrs. Senator Rob Portman and Mrs. Governor John Kasich), the state's Republican Lieutenant Governor, Mary Taylor and the CEO of Ohio-based Longaberger basket company, Tamela ("Tami") Longaberger.
So here's the fun part.
According to the Muskingum County Board of elections, despite a consistent record of voting in every general election and every primary in an even-numbered year, Longaberger took a pass this March when Mitt Romney's name was on the Ohio ballot.
This is who the Romney folks are putting out front and center tomorrow to tell people to vote for their candidate. Someone who, when given the chance, didn't vote for him herself.
Good luck with that.
