This blog pertains to the one I did for Mother's Day. Go ahead and read on.
Adoption Bug
I have no words to JUST how insulting this is. I found this on Pinterest and I seriously almost punched my laptop. How can someone with any regard to another human being even come up with some saying such as "Motherhood- no stretch marks required"!
So having a fresh new infant from a woman who just faced 10 months of pain, and will be facing MORE pain from her "decision" deserves this sort of shit!? Because she's only a "birth mother", right?? She can deal with the stretch marks, the weight gain, the fluctuating hormones, the trauma and agony of relinquishment while the adoptive "mother" who wears this shirt goes on about her day with no worry at all!?
What about this shirt?
Because paper cuts are so terrible compared to morning sickness, weight gain, being repeatedly kicked in the ribs, pissing yourself in public, stitches from childbirth, possibly shitting yourself on the table and possibly never actually recovering from the abuse a woman's body takes during pregnancy. Oh wait! I didn't even mention the actual complications of pregnancy! Like preeclampsia, placental abruption and countless other complications. But my oh my, paper cuts are so terrible!
Here are some more:
Birthmother Baskets
2. WHAT ITEMS DO YOU PUT IN YOUR BASKETS?
Each bmb is different, depending on the items that we have had donated, at that time. However, every bmb comes with a journal and the My Little Butterfly poem. Here, is a list of items that I generally ask to be donated. {you can also see this list on the right side of my blog}
Because nothing says "Thanks for the little human being" like a basket of fruit. Or cheese and crackers. Or a fucking journal so she can write down her thoughts about how "happy" she is! What do you give the woman who gave you her child (that can fit in a basket)? Or a basket full of "LOVE, warmth and support. " Yes, because that's what a fucking "birth mother" needs, is a fucking basket. Thank you for such lovely appreciation bullshit line!
Here's a nice fucked up quote:
I'll just leave it right here.
Moving on, MORE fucked up shit that Pro-Adoption nutjobs come up with!
Lovely, isn't it?? Wouldn't you just love this in YOUR baby scrap book? Doesn't it warm your heart to know that your mom thought you were "sweet" and all... But hey, just couldn't take care of you so she "left you" ... Oh but in a "safe place". That makes it all better.
I know I sound very irate in this blog, and I apologize. I am actually beyond annoyed at the bullshit some adoptive parents and the adoption industry fucking puts out there. Seriously, no fucking respect for all the fucking women who fucking carried all those children for the adoptive couples.
Self-centered assholes. At least I can admit I'm fucking self-centered.
